Trauma impacts us in ways we can’t imagine. It affects human development and rewires our brain. I remember seeing the impact trauma from childhood had for my adult clients. I remember seeing elementary school children and the impact trauma has on their ability to develop healthy relationships. Processing trauma isn’t something you need to do alone. I can still remember meeting with a teen girl and seeing her relief after processing her trauma and expressing how much better she felt. Working through trauma allows my clients to feel relief and feel a decrease in their daily triggers.
Together, we can undo the trauma pathways in the brain and help make healthier connections. I utilized and trained in several modalities used for trauma including Internal Family Systems (level 1), EMDR, and DBT. However, regardless of modalities I will also go at your pace!
I love working with clients who are ready for change. I love working with teens and adults who appreciate feedback and alternate views of what may be an unhealthy narrative of their life.
