I am an experienced clinician with a focus on women who are struggling during pregnancy, postpartum, or at any point in their parenting journey. These struggles could include anxiety, depression, trauma and addiction. I am skilled in working with parents/caregivers who are looking to improve their relationship with their child and helping parents/caregivers who are looking to better understand and respond to their child. I want to help relieve anxiety, stress, and feelings of depression so that women can feel understood and find strategies for moving forward.
With a focus on maternal mental health I believe that the most important aspects of therapy are relationship and trust. I have training in perinatal mood disorders including "Perinatal Mood Disorders: Components of Care" and "Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy." Both of these trainings were through Postpartum Support International.
I know that pregnancy and parenting can be hard but also extremely rewarding and fun, and I want to help clients feel understood and confident. Picking up the phone can be one of the hardest steps, but I am here, ready to talk and help you plan for a happier future.
