My experience is in counseling individuals with depression and anxiety disorders while developing a positive, empathetic, non- judgmental and trusting therapeutic relationship. I have a background in working with youth and young adults with learning disabilities, ADHD, depression, and autism spectrum disorders, specifically individuals with Asperger's.

My theoretical approach is based on cognitive behavioral therapy, a talking therapy. The therapy aims to solve problems concerning dysfunctional emotions, behaviors and cognitions through a goal-oriented, systematic procedure in the present. The goal is to modify one's thoughts, beliefs, and perceptions, and to change one's usual pattern of behavior.

I also do executive coaching which involves working with a client to reach a specific goal in their professional development. The specific areas of coaching may include career transition, interpersonal and professional communication, performance management, organizational effectiveness, managing career and personal changes, enhancing strategic thinking, and dealing effectively with conflict.
