I begin treatment by getting to know you as a person and why you are seeking therapy at this time. Understanding your background, cultural identity, and presenting barriers to problem solving, are critical components I take into consideration throughout treatment. My goal as a therapist is to help you build resiliency and reduce barriers in the process.
I am compassionate, empathetic, and nonjudgmental in my work, and have endured many hardships in my life that allow myself to relate to clients and understand where they are coming from, and that change is not easy and a lifelong process. I am patient, I approach each session with care and focus on a clients strengths through out the treatment process.
