I currently do not have any availability but am happy to provide referrals. I believe that people have an innate capacity to heal and make desired changes in their lives, but the work of personal and relational growth can be difficult and doesn’t have to be done alone. I offer a safe and supportive space where we can work together on creating what you want to see in your life. My style is collaborative, authentic and rooted in compassion. I use a blend of evidenced-based approaches, including CBT, DBT and EMDR for depression, anxiety, relationship challenges and trauma.
I provide practical skills with mindfulness folded in throughout to help people develop increased self-awareness, endure and modulate unpleasant emotions and foster nourishing relationships with others. I have over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, parents and families, and especially enjoy working with teens.
As a psychotherapist and credentialed school counselor, I have spent many years working within school settings and am familiar with special education and the IEP (Individualized Education Plan) process. Please call me to set up a free 20 min. phone consultation to determine if my services are the right fit for you.
