I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with 12 years of experience. I work out of two offices, one on Main Street in Newark (within walking distance of University of Delaware), the other within Equity Fitness in Elkton. I am heavily trained in EMDR, BSP (Brain Spotting), Internal Family Systems Therapy as well as RLT, AEDP, and DBT. I am also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Precision Nutrition Certified Nutrition Coach. As a former D1 athlete, my approach to psychotherapy is a holistic one. My clients have specifically appreciated the rate at which they are able to experience benefits from therapy.
I have expertise in helping clients in healing from trauma, anxiety/OCD, self esteem issues, perfectionism, performance anxiety/sports psychology issues, codependency/relationship/family issues, LGBTQIA issues, personality disorders, addiction/eating and body image issues. I treat children, adolescents, adults, couples and families as well as athletes.

Groups
GritRx Groups

This is an opportunity for people in the area to have access to a state of the art fitness facility and get expert fitness and nutrition coaching from their mental health therapist. Groups begin with an intention/topic and then use a specific workout designed to provide an opportunity to learn from new and exciting experiences related to that topic. Group ends with time for processing, so that group members can reflect on how they felt, what they learned, and how they can apply what they experienced to life outside the gym. Get ready for rope climbs, box jumps, weightlifting, tire flipping and more.
