We all have the need to feel supported and understood and are not meant to navigate life's difficult paths alone. I believe we each have the innate capacity to heal, and I value and encourage the integration of mind, body, and spirit. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, addiction, chronic pain, childhood abuse, trauma, grief, and PTSD. I work best with those who have the courage to want to get to know themselves at a deeper level. I support people in being curious about aspects of themselves that may have split off from the whole through rejection, trauma, overwhelming experiences, or lack of acceptance.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapist, Registered Yoga Teacher, and Certified Addictions Counselor. I employ techniques to increase insight into patterns, awareness of the here and now, acceptance of our true selves, and the capacity to change ways of relating that are no longer useful.
My intention as a therapist is to inspire and support others to live a life of fulfillment and joy. My manner is warm, accepting, and thoughtful. My approach is collaborative, flexible, and direct.
