I am Megan Learned, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. Over the past 3 years, I have worked with active-duty military members in a partial hospitalization program (PHP) setting, primarily focusing on individuals dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety, and/or suicidal tendencies.
I obtained my Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University. My counseling approaches include dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), solution-focused therapy, and goal-setting.
I also focus on skill-building, including adjusting to post-military life, improving family dynamics, and overcoming depressive symptoms. I take pride in using an eclectic approach to meet each individual or family's specific needs, and I will create a personalized treatment plan that best supports you.
