I am Megan, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia with 10 years of experience working with youth, adolescents, and adults in various clinical settings. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, life transitions, ADHD, trauma, relationship issues, stress management, and self-esteem issues. I graduated from the University of Virginia with my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and obtained my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Longwood University.
I utilize person-centered, supportive, collaborative, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, and various other strategies to assist individuals in meeting their personal counseling goals. I believe that each client faces unique challenges and offer a variety of different strategies to help individuals meet their personal and relationship goals.
I strive to build warm and supportive relationships with individuals and couples to promote positive growth during our work together. I believe that everyone has the opportunity to lead full and meaningful lives and should have the chance to better themselves!
