I am a clinician at the Western Michigan University Resiliency Center. I specialize in difficulties related to anxiety, depression, grief/loss, school concerns, trauma, and much more. I am passionate about working with children and adolescents who have experienced adversity, as well as supporting their caregivers. It is my goal to work with you and your child in creating achievable and important goals. My hope is that I can create a safe and welcoming space for your child to feel seen and heard. The Resiliency Center is privileged to have therapy dogs onsite.
I have experience providing trauma informed care to many different populations. I have worked with many children in the foster care system, as well as children who have been adopted. I also have experience working with caregivers, so they may better understand their child and their needs.
Finding a therapist that is a good fit can be difficult. You are welcome to reach out to me, so that we can talk further before scheduling an appointment.
