Pregnancy, birth, and new motherhood are genuinely hard! Which makes it all the more incredible that this is how every single human being got here! And yet the hard parts are often dismissed while women are expected to "enjoy every second." We need to talk about that more and how beautiful and hard and weird and overwhelming it all can be, often all once. I'm Megan, and I'm a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and certified perinatal mental health therapist (PMH-C). I specialize in supporting women through the full reproductive journey - from trying to conceive, through pregnancy, and into the early years of motherhood.
The perinatal stage of life is a unique and that deserves specialized support. I've trained specifically for this, I'm a mother myself, and I genuinely love this work. I love talking about the reality of what women experience - the good, the bad, and the ugly - and figuring out what tools and support are needed during this time of life.
