About
I channel my passion skillfully in an effort to collaborate with others of all ages, engaging strengths from their unique walks of life, as they try to manage such things as depression, anxiety, addiction, grief, trauma, as well as other life obstacles and transitions. I feel deeply honored to be able to do this work. I believe in collaborative and strengths-based approaches to enhancing community and nurturing connection. I believe that if we are breathing, there is hope.
I have earned my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, providing me with a strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) within a holistic framework. I have complemented this with trauma-informed, mindfulness-based, and compassion oriented trainings which inform the way I approach therapy.
I believe one of the bravest things anyone can do is to begin to understand their own story. I am perpetually on that journey as well, and hope to be a helpful guide within yours. It is within our challenges, so inherent to the human condition, that I find the most opportunities for growth, both within myself and those I serve.
