I value showing up in sessions as a real human. I am a queer-identifying and neurodivergent therapist who has done a lot of work on my own mental health. I use real life experience as well as research and evidence backed techniques. My therapy style is collaborative, genuine, creative, honest, direct, and at times humorous.
Maybe it's hard to put how you are feeling into words- we may use collage or drawing to explore instead. Or perhaps you are looking to learn new skills with some homework to practice outside of sessions. Ultimately, we will work together to see what approach might be the best for you individually and go from there!
Whether you are completely new to therapy and ready to see what it is all about, or have tried it all and hoping for a better fit/different approach- I'm glad you are here and considering starting this work together. Contacting a therapist can be intimidating. I have online scheduling for easy appointment setting through my website!
