Have you experienced a traumatic event that continues to disturb you? Have you lost a loved one and find your grief overwhelming? Is anxiety or depression getting the best of you? If so, you’ve come to the right place. Since 2012, I’ve helped hundreds of people overcome significant challenges to lead happier, healthier lives. My practice is 100% teletherapy, and I’m licensed in California and Oregon. As a trauma therapist, I’m trained in a variety of therapeutic interventions, including EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and sensorimotor psychotherapy.
My style is warm and empathetic but also challenging. The feedback I most often hear is “you’re different from other therapists”, meaning that I ask the hard questions and provide the tough love that gets people to make real changes in their lives, rather than just talk about wanting change. I roll up my sleeves and dig in; I expect my clients to do the same
I understand people lead busy lives so I offer daytime and evening appointments. I use Zoom as my video platform. It’s safe, secure and easy to use. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we’re a good fit, so call or email me to get started. New clients can usually be seen within 1-2 weeks.
