Taking care of yourself is one of the most generous things you can do. I believe that through mindfulness, self care and wellness we are capable of developing healthy coping strategies to overcome life's challenges–at any age. There is hope. We are not our mistakes. Our ability to self-regulate has roots back to childhood. Through therapy, it is my goal to walk beside you as you explore those roots and make meaningful connections in the pursuit of healing. I bring heart and warmth to each session and create a non-judgemental environment to heal in.
I am trained in Brainspotting, a powerful treatment method aimed at helping individuals heal from trauma. As a mother of 4, I understand how beautiful and utterly challenging this season can truly be. Through therapy, it is my goal to give clients a safe space to process their trauma as well as develop healthy coping strategies in order to thrive.
I have personally experienced anxiety and understand the crippling effects. Some days it felt like I was alone on an island and other days it felt like I was drowning in the water.
