Sometimes we need to hit pause and reflect on what life has thrown our way. My approach is to come beside you and learn! I want to help you better understand who you are and how your life experiences contribute to your present day self. Together, we work as a team to empower you, identify values, practice new forms of coping, and embrace change.
If you struggle with disordered eating, body image, depression, or anxiety, my training might be a good fit for you. I have treated individuals with eating disorders for 10+ yrs. I am trained in several evidence-based therapy approaches such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Exposure Response Prevention. I welcome diversity and I am trauma informed.
As a working mom of three, I understand the difficulty of putting yourself first and prioritizing therapy, however, it can be the catalyst for lasting change. I consider it an honor to come beside you during this process. “Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.” ― Rumi
