Sometimes, folx are concerned that their therapist is going to make them lie on a couch while they say nondescript and cryptic things like "hmmm" and "I see" and "how does that make you feel?" While I do ask the last question, I can promise that my client work is not that of the 1920s. I believe that you are the best expert on yourself and my role as your therapist is to help you uncover what you already know and put it into action.
