You practice, work hard, and push yourself to be your best, but the pressure to perform is overwhelming. One mistake can feel bigger than all the things you did right. A bad game, strike out, missed shot, slow race, or a coach's criticism can replay in your mind long after the competition ends, leaving you to question if you are even good enough.
For many athletes, the hardest part isn't the physical. It's learning how to manage the negative thoughts, emotions, and expectations that come with competing. Perfectionism, anxiety or fear of failure leaves you feeling lost, alone and far away from the confident athlete you want to be.
Together, we will work on understanding the thoughts and patterns that may be holding you back, developing healthier ways to manage pressure, and building confidence that isn't tied to your last performance. I help athletes learn how to respond to mistakes, regulate emotions during stressful moments, recover mentally after setbacks, both in and out of sport.
I’m not just any therapist—I understand the athlete experience because I’ve lived it. I know the pressure, dedication, setbacks, emotions that come with competing. My approach is tailored to each athlete, creating space where you feel understood as both an athlete and a person. Together, let's build up your confidence, improve performance and have some fun.
