I offer both in-person and virtual appointments across the state of Texas. Healing and recovery occur in the context of relationships, both with ourselves and others. My goal is to create a safe and trusting relationship with clients, which allows for open dialogue, communication, and change. I work with clients to understand how past experiences shape how they approach life and their interpersonal relationships. My areas of expertise include body image and eating disorders, anxiety disorders, identity issues, and grief and loss. I also treat depression, stress, trauma, relationship problems, and adjustment issues.
After meeting a client for an initial assessment, I collaboratively work with each client to develop goals for therapy and a treatment plan. As therapy proceeds, I am constantly assessing treatment effectiveness in order to best meet client needs.
Using an empathic and warm stance, I work to create a safe therapeutic environment in order for clients to address their problems, challenge themselves, and grow.
