Hi there! My name is Megan Bennett, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about empowering my clients to overcome various life struggles and promoting growth and healing so they can lead the lives they truly deserve to live. My approach is client-centered and strengths-based while utilizing a trauma-informed lens. I meet my clients where they are at in their healing journey by providing empathy and unconditional positive regard. I know that my clients are the experts in their own lives while acknowledging that everyone needs help and guidance from time to time.
I create a safe, warm, compassionate, and inclusive environment for all my clients. I bring my personable, authentic self to sessions to help my clients feel comfortable and build trust and rapport. I love utilizing humor with my clients as well, as I believe laughter is some of the best medicine.
I utilize S.M.A.R.T. Goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely). I collaborate with my clients to set such goals that they are motivated to focus on and can realistically achieve. Throughout therapy, we will review your goals and progress and can adjust or create new goals as needed.
