I approach OCD with the understanding that it has the power to distort everything you love. That understanding motivates me to help members reclaim what they love most. In graduate school, the first advice I received was that if you want to be a therapist, you need to know what it's like to be on the other side of the chair. That's how I started my journey to becoming a therapist. In undergoing therapy myself, I learned how anxiety-provoking it was to open up to a complete stranger. At NOCD, my team and I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for people with OCD.
Our understanding of the nuances and intricacies of OCD enables us to properly diagnose and treat it. We have received intensive training in Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy (ERP)—the gold standard treatment for OCD. When you start with NOCD Therapy, you’ll either work with me or be paired with one of my colleagues, depending on your preferences.
We’ll get to know you and create a personalized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. Plus, we offer support between sessions through direct messaging and a community of peers with OCD, ensuring you never feel alone. I look forward to working with you and helping you conquer your OCD.
