I am passionate about helping young women and teen girls discover their inner strength. My experience includes working with women ages 14+ facing concerns with relational and family issues, anxiety, stress, depression, life transitions and self-esteem. I see myself as a rudder, guiding you towards your own self-discovery, healing and strengths. If you are feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, my services will introduce support and skills needed to foster self-empowerment.
I engage a person's strengths and values by using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for evidence based practical steps. I emphasize the counselor and client collaborating to make reasonable and specific goals, creating clear and specific treatment plans and empowering clients to make needed changes.
Counseling is an emotionally and psychologically intimate atmosphere where healing and wholeness can take root and grow. The reasons clients seek counseling are varied, but regardless of the reason for entering counseling I believe that with time, vulnerability, and awareness any client can find themselves holistically improved.
