While I believe many challenges and hardships are common to the human experience, I also understand that each person has unique experiences, perspectives, strengths, and challenges. I approach counseling from a collaborative perspective in which the counselor and client work together to facilitate client growth and positive change. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 17 years of experience in counseling.
I have worked with people struggling with diverse challenges, including anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I use an integrative approach in my therapeutic work and often draw from Existential Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am also trained in EMDR, an evidence-based treatment modality for trauma, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders.
