I help people of all ages who are dealing with stress, a significant loss, obstacles to achieving important goals, a mental health concern or difficulties in their relationships with others. Do you find yourself feeling anxious, frustrated, sad, or overwhelmed much of the time? We can work together to help you with that. Therapy provides a safe, designated space to work on feeling better, more satisfied, and "less stuck." I offer a caring and non-judgmental approach which appreciates that each person is unique, as is their life path and goals for treatment.
The therapy framework is psychodynamic, however I may employ techniques from other treatment approaches when clinically indicated and based on patient preferences. These may include stress management techniques, mindfulness meditation, writing, art, or skill building interventions. My work with younger children usually involves play therapy with ancillary parenting / family support.
It's not always easy to reach out for help or to find the right therapist. Please feel free to contact me with any questions and to determine if you'd like to meet. I look forward to hearing from you!
