I became passionate about the benefits of therapy after my own experience working with a licensed therapist throughout different decades of my life. I am driven to do this work because I have witnessed the positive impact of taking a structured and supportive approach towards change.
I typically work with client’s that are experiencing thoughts and emotions that are causing distress. Which includes but is not limited to clients that have experienced traumatic events and life transitions. I also work with client’s looking to utilize their ADHD traits in healthy ways.
The most important aspect of therapy is creating a connection with a therapist that is authentic, safe, and supportive. I have been described by co-workers and clients as intuitive and relatable. I am LGBTQ+ affirmative and practice cultural humility.
