Medusa Cooperative is a worker-owned psychotherapy practice built around trauma-informed, relational, and anti-oppressive care. We believe therapy should not be structured around burnout, hierarchy, or the usual capitalism-in-a-cardigan nonsense. Our clinicians share responsibility, accountability, and decision-making so care can be more ethical, sustainable, and human. Medusa centers collaboration, dignity, nervous-system safety, and community-minded healing for clients and workers alike.

Has the state of the world left you fucking exhausted? Dragging yourself through the day, fakin’ it ’til ya make it? Spending your “free time” staring at the clock and a teapot like the Beast, or doom-scrolling Elyse Myers telling wildly awkward stories because throat-punchin’ a bitch will catch you a charge? Does Taylor Swift’s “It’s me, hi, I’m the problem, it’s me” sound like your goddamn inner critic? Does life feel like Severance, like your tired body clocks in while your mind checks the fuck out? Can you relate to Olivia Benson after William Lewis and the brutal fallout that followed? Yeah. Let’s do something about that shit.

Nothing in your internal system is random. Even the parts of yourself that you hate have an important job to do.
I work with adults and teens who feel stuck in themselves, especially those with trauma, dissociation, or complex inner worlds. Many of my clients are LGBTQ+ or have learned to shape-shift or stay hyper-aware just to stay safe. You might feel like you’re too much, not enough, or constantly switching between the two. Together, we focus on understanding how your system works and building more stability, connection, and choice, while learning to tolerate uncertainty, without trying to force a change that won't stick.

I would like to acknowledge first that therapy is a unique experience, because in what other setting do we set out to share some pretty personal things with a stranger? That is why I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable, accepted, and understood. A space that is about you, your needs, and when you are ready, a place you can take your guard down. I have experience working with individuals ages 3 and up who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma and its aftershocks, or those in a transitional period in their lives.
