My name is Medina Ruci, and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, low self-esteem, self-injury, suicidal ideation, relationship challenges, family conflict, and behavioral concerns. I also have extensive experience supporting adults through life transitions, mood disorders, emotional dysregulation, and identity-related stress.
I help by creating a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe, seen, and heard. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and I draw from other modalities to fit each person’s unique needs. I focus on helping clients develop healthy coping strategies and reconnecting with their values.
I use empathy, curiosity, and even humor in the room, always striving to meet clients where they are. I am passionate about this work because I believe in people’s ability to grow and reclaim their lives—even through pain.
