I have a wide range of experience working with individuals and couples. I primarily focus on helping clients understand how experiences in their life have influenced their beliefs, behaviors, emotions and relationships. I have been a therapist for 16 years. I have specialized training in working with acute and chronic illness. My research for my PhD centered on helping couples navigate pregnancy loss and infertility. I have worked in the field of addiction for 6 years. I work with couples, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, trauma, and processing life transitions.
Therapy is helpful and daunting. I remember when I first went to therapy I felt uncomfortable, embarrassed, and scared. I also wanted something to be different in my life.
