I work with those who have experienced painful experiences that can be described as trauma. Trauma is identified as an event that a individual has processed as deeply painful and disturbing, causing lingering symptoms including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, self-harm, PTSD, dissociation, and somatic symptoms (such as body pain or illness).
Often times, we don't know events in our past could be described as trauma because many assume trauma is limited to "big" events. However, trauma can also be events we would not have "expected". Contact me to learn more.
