I have 41 years experience counseling people with relationship issues; couples with family and marital problems; parents needing help with teens; straight and gay/lesbian couples wanting a healthier relationship. Relationship problems trigger issues like low self esteem,depression, and anxiety. I believe that most unhappiness stems from one or more problem relationships. My ideal client is tired of others trying to control or change them through behaviors like criticism, nagging, threatening, blaming, and complaining. And, my ideal client is one who wants to stop using these same behaviors that are harmful to their relationships.
Improving relationships is my specialty. I am Reality Therapy Certified since 1992. I focus on the present, not the past. I focus on solutions, not the problem or symptoms. With my client we use the WDEP SYSTEM, a plan for change. My clients learn things that can be used immediately.
I love what I do.My clients refer their friends and family. My practice is open to all. I work with straight and gay alike.I am a long time allay of the LGBTQ community. My hours of availability are day time 8am to 5 pm. All sessions are now done on live zoom video.
