I enjoy working with clients of all ages, from all cultural backgrounds and from all walks of life. I offer outreach therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups. After graduate school, I moved to Massachusetts, where I worked in both the traditional office setting, and in outreach, where I counseled clients in their homes. My lifelong love and appreciation for the outdoors called me to make a bold move to Montana. This is where I was exposed to the many opportunities to use my love of the outdoors to enrich the therapeutic process.

While well versed and experience in traditional interventions and therapeutic styles, such as CBT and DBT, Nicole's approach to therapy is collaborative and holistic. She includes mythology, spirituality and other non-traditional interventions in her treatment planning, particularly working to include a client’s cultural background into their care. Nicole’s guiding principle in therapy and wellness is authenticity. This is true in how she presents herself to clients and in encouraging clients to embrace their most genuine selves.

Counseling, psychology, mental health, and hypnosis have ignited my passion to work with individuals and families long ago. I enjoy working with individuals who have temporary lost their way, lost joy in life, and might be struggling with anxiety, chronic illness, pain or upcoming surgeries, depression, panic attacks, insomnia, or mental blocks. One of my specialties includes working with musicians, artists, writers, and other professions in the entertainment industry. Additionally, I enjoy exploring multicultural issues with immigrants, trauma work with any individuals, and guiding individuals through life transitions.

My life experiences have enabled me to become the compassionate, empathetic and non- judgmental therapist that I strive to be. I am a true believer in the Holistic approach to counseling. I believe wellness comes from treating the whole person: physical, mental , spiritual and emotional health. A healthy diet, exercise, rest, and medical check-ups are vital to staying mentally and physically healthy. I’m an LPC and RPT. I work with all populations: individual, couples, families n children. I provide a safe space to work collaboratively with my clients and together we can work on your goals. I’m bilingual fluent in Spanish.

RJ García is a Central Texan with over thirty-five years of serving the recovery community. RJ earned a Master of Arts in Addiction Counseling from the world-renowned Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies at the Center City, Minnesota alcohol and drug addiction treatment center. HGSAS offered a unique curriculum that integrates theory, science and clinical practice. RJ is a member of the American Counseling Association. RJ is bilingual in both English and Spanish. RJ has a special blend of experience in recovery in educational services, health expertise in interventions, therapy, and heroic habits coaching.
