He has worked at Barrio Comprehensive Health Center in San Antonio, as Medical Director, as well as Austin Regional Clinic where he also served as a board member. Board certified in Family Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Texas Medical Association, Dr. Powell has had an interest and commitment to addiction treatment in primary care since 2008, treating hundreds of patients with medication assisted therapy.
