I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and am working on finishing my requirements to be a Licensed Addiction Counselor as well. I joined the JFS Boulder team October 2023. Prior to this, I have worked in hospital settings providing inpatient psychotherapy and psychiatric evaluations. I have also spent time providing school-based psychotherapy as part of a grant funded program. I am originally from Illinois, but after moving to Denver for graduate school have been proud to call Colorado home for over 4 years now. I completed my master’s degree in forensic psychology in 2021 at DU.

After working in the business realm, I pursued my B.S. in Human Service while providing therapeutic massage, health assessments, treatment plans, and referral assessments as a sole proprietor and working as a Family Program Director and Individual Counselor at a residential treatment center. From there, I pursued my Masters in Counseling while working as a Community Relations Coordinator, Assistant Program Director, Individual Counselor, and then later a Program Director. Now, I work as a Telehealth Therapist at All Points North as I pursue my Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership.

Jessica Quick, MSW, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who brings warmth and energy along with a cognitive approach to her work with a diverse group of adults. Using a blend of person-first therapy and motivational interviewing, complemented by Cognitive Behavioral and mindfulness techniques and specialized grief counseling, Jess has worked in a wide variety of treatment settings for over fifteen years to help individuals and couples set, reach, and maintain goals. In addition to her clinical work, Jess has been an Adjunct Professor at Metro State University for the past eleven years.

I have worked in multiple clinical settings with various populations. I appreciate working with clients who are navigating existential crises, those who are looking for a better understanding to the meaning of life. This experience can help clients identify and break negative or unhealthy patterns in their lives. I am a firm believer in the power of perception-shifting, in order to identify a silver lining in even the most difficult situations. My therapeutic approach is dynamic and eclectic. My goal with all of my clients is to walk beside them through their struggles and help them come through their struggles feeling stronger.
