Lifeworks Counseling Center, PLLC has been in business since 1992. We provide therapy for ages 4 and up. We have 9 therapists (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) who provide counseling for almost any emotional/mental/spiritual challenge people face in today's culture. We have therapists on most major insurance and EAP panels and also work with private pay clients as well.

I love working with clients who are seeking to identify and change patterns in thought, communication, and relationships. My clients are individuals and couples who are experiencing struggles and roadblocks in how they view and interact with themselves and others. I enjoy helping people grow in awareness of what is causing their issues and learn how to effect change in their lives and relationships. I offer clients a safe place to experience and process their emotions, identify unhelpful patterns and learn healthy coping skills.

As a therapist, my passion is helping others meet their goals. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Texas. I graduated with a MS in Counseling from Southern Methodist University. Throughout my career I have had experience in working with clients who have depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, dissociative identity disorder, schizoaffective disorder, gender/identity struggles, life adjustment stressors, grief, phobias, and PTSD/trauma. I am trained to treat clients with PTSD and trauma through Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM).

Emotional pain and physical pain are processed in the same centers in the brain. This means emotional pain is real, tangible, and needs to be resolved or it will continue to impact how you feel and perceive the world. Trauma, negative belief symptoms, coping struggles, cumulative stress, substance abuse, relationship issues, family struggles, and past difficult memories can be addressed in therapy and there can be permanent healing. I enjoy working with adults who are struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, abuse, shame, identity, self-worth, anger issues, relationship issues, and faith related issues. My background also includes working within the CPS and foster care systems. I use an eclectic approach to meet the specific need of each individual. Haley is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in marital and family relationship counseling and trauma therapy. Haley takes a holistic approach to mental health addressing the needs of the individual by considering the societal, relational, biological, spiritual, and emotional factors in a person's life. Haley approaches therapy with a collaborative stance, considering the client the expert on their life and situations and offers her expertise on relational dynamics, trauma and the brain, attachment wounds, and self-parenting to help her clients navigate their past hurts, current relationships, anxiety, and more.

Sandhya Sharma is a South Asian Indian LPC and certified addictions specialist who works with: Adults, Teens, LGBTQ community, and International Communities. She will develop a treatment plan with you to help you facilitate behavioral changes that more successfully meet your goals.
