Being a part of these communities myself, I have witnessed and experienced the varying forms of life stressors, cultural barriers, and systematically-placed limitations that create life hardships that require special knowledge and passion to achieve healing for these communities. I yearn to fill the gaps in therapy services that individuals in these communities face. I work to help create a world of healthcare that honor and see them as they truly are.

I believe in the power of change and the positive impact a supportive therapeutic connection can have in promoting growth and transformation. As a holistic therapist, I will utilize a blend of cognitive and somatic approaches, paying particular attention to breath and mindfulness. I view each of our lives as a journey of discovery: of the self, the world around us, and all the experiences that move through us. We are learning how to be who we are, how to be human, and how to traverse the terrain ahead of us. The journey brings with it a full range, from ecstatic bliss and deep peace to agonizing shame and despair, and everything between. Each individual’s journey is unique, yet we share some overlapping themes and needs. Perhaps we are seeking support along our journey, for further growth, healing, or connection with our authentic self and others.

The difficulties of everyday life can sometimes become overwhelming. When on top of those difficulties we add the stresses of illness, anxiety, depression, our identity, our love lives and more-we can easily feel burdened to our breaking point.
