My holistic approach focuses on addressing and exploring the relational and behavioral patterns that impact mental health. I believe that every person has the inherent capacity to make positive changes in their life, and sometimes it just takes the right support and guidance to take the first step towards growth.

I help couples create more loving, connected, and healthy relationships, recognizing that intimate relationships often expose our deepest wounds as well as our greatest chance for growth and healing. I specialize in supporting couples in exploring communication challenges, intimacy issues, emotional distance, and the impact that significant life events (pregnancy, post-partum, parenting, grief, chronic illness, financial stressors) can have on a relationship.

My work is dedicated to helping people develop healthy relationships and productive, satisfying lives. Our mission is to provide quality online mental health and substance abuse services while breaking down the barriers of traditional, office based therapy. Traditional mental health and substance abuse treatment tends to focus on what makes you sick, what you are lacking but at The Mindful Lemon, our clinicians let you sit in the driver’s seat, focusing on your strengths and assets to help you become the best version of you! This can be via traditional talk therapy, medication management, mindfulness techniques, an emphasis on health, wellness and fitness or any combination of the above.

Looking for a therapist of color who can help honor all the different cultures you identify with and represent? Because there is a huge blindspot in Western mental health, I take on a very intentional and holistic approach to helping you feel safe to unpack the many layers that make up You. Together, we can explore any past trauma (intergenerational, racial, childhood), learn how to express and regulate your emotions, reduce people-pleasing and over-functioning that often leads to burnout, improve your confidence, practice self-compassion/acceptance, and ultimately, your relationship with yourself and others.

In 2020, I opened a private practice. I was blessed it grew to full capacity but dealt with sadness of turning people away due to no space. Frequently people shared their difficulties with finding therapy. I am tired of people and families, who are suffering emotionally not getting the help they need. So, I put together a group of several skilled clinicians. We operate by providing a therapy environment that is confidential and emotionally safe. We’re dedicated to making people feel comfortable and understood when discussing the most sensitive issues. Our goal is to ensure support that is empathetic and non-judgmental.
