As a psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience as a social worker, counselor, Doula and teacher, I have created an extraordinary toolbox of methods to support the unique needs of Black Women and those of color, to heal in various areas of their lives. My mission as a therapist is to affirm the best in you. My name is Dr. Shushan V. Kalantaryan (I am more commonly known as Dr. K). I am a licensed clinical therapist with a Bachelors in Psychology from American Psychological Association accredited University and a Doctors in Marriage and Family Therapy from California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in Los Angeles. I have a wide range of experiences working in private practices, nonprofit organizations, and psychiatric settings as well as having served as an adjunct professor at California Professional School of Psychology.
