Over time, this can be detrimental to a person’s overall quality of life. Experiencing losses, trauma, anxiety and depression can make an indelible impression, but they do not have to define a person. We are in control of how we respond to the issues we face.

I specialize in working with people who identify as LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, immigrants, and children of immigrants while affirming their identities and lived experiences. As a child of immigrants myself, I understand the unique challenges and perspectives that can come with trying to reconcile one’s individual identity and culture with the dominant culture-at-large.

I work with couples experiencing conflict and disconnection & individuals suffering from anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, PTSD, anger, and difficult childhoods/pasts. I'm a "trauma-informed therapist" meaning there's awareness placed on the complex impact of certain experiences, often resulting in chronic suffering and overwhelm. Together we will work to understand what's contributing to your distress and develop a deeper connection to yourself and others.
