I specialize in working with adults (18+) and couples who want relief from emotional distress and practical tools for lasting change. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have experience treating anxiety and PTSD, including emotional, mental, and sexual trauma. I also work closely with couples navigating communication breakdowns, persistent conflict, and relational wounds using evidence-based approaches.
My counseling style is collaborative, strengths-based, and holistic. I most often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT), Systems Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Adlerian theory, and I am trained in Levels 1 and 2 of the Gottman Method for couples.
When helpful, I incorporate creative approaches like journaling, art, and music therapy, with plans for animal-assisted therapy in the future.
