Additionally, I believe that every person possesses the inner wisdom for healing and the power to reclaim agency over their experience. My role as a therapist is to provide an accepting space for this self-discovery, and to support you in learning the tools to cope with life on life’s terms.
The individuals I work with come with experiences of depression, chronic stress, substance use, spiritual conflict, and questions surrounding identity. As a social worker, I am also systems-informed and strongly considerate of the additional burden of institutional oppression.
While starting therapy may feel overwhelming, it can also be an empowering first step towards greater life satisfaction.
