Deciding to begin counseling can be intimidating! Maybe you've been thinking about going to therapy for a long time, or maybe something happened to you that you need space to process, with some guidance. I enjoy working with clients who are experiencing difficult life transitions, mood and anxiety disorders, and those who aren't quite sure what category they would fall into. Regardless, our job together once you walk into the room is to figure out how I can best help. It's okay if you don't know what that looks like, yet. That's part of my job!

I work hard to connect with my clients quickly, while respecting boundaries and nerves that come along with beginning counseling. I rely heavily on humor in session, because I know that being my authentic self will allow you to feel comfortable to do the same. My goal is to help you understand your past while identifying what your future can look like.
I've been in your position before, blindly looking for a counselor who can help and who I can connect with, and I encourage you to speak with a few therapists before you make your decision. Your story is important and valuable and you deserve to share it with someone who will take care of it, with you. I hope to have the chance to get to know you!
