Coming with many years of medical experience I have seen the mental toll that comes with physical pains and oppositely, the effect that mental health can have on the physical body. I have a strong desire to more fully blend physical and mental health treatment so that the client has a more well-rounded approach to their care. In prescribing psychiatric medication, and offering non-medication options, my goal is to help clients achieve the stability they need to make full use of their therapy sessions, gain momentum to make changes outside the office and have more confidence to be in control of their life.
I began my training working in the surgical ICU which set the groundwork for my critical thinking skills. In the past 10 years, I have worked at multiple in-patient mental health facilities, both within the United States and abroad. The last residential treatment center worked specifically with clients suffering from trauma.
The mental health field is ever changing and I most look forward to the research-driven benefits of ketamine and how this medicine can help clients make greater strides in their treatment. I really enjoy connecting with people and hope to help others find those little glimmers of joy that make life worth living.

Groups
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy Trauma Group
Starting March 17th and lasting for 9 weeks. This group is from 5:30pm-8:00pm on Monday evenings. Space is limited to 6 people. We will have two KAP trained therapists facilitating the group experience. We will also have our FNP Meg Taylor present as well to help facilitate the medication portion. There will be 3 non-medicine groups. The first group is an introduction group and setting intentions group. About half way through we will do an integration group and the final group will be a conclusion group. We are very excited to offer this group with our trained and knowledgeable professional team.
