Welcome! Whether you’re starting your therapy journey for the first time or looking to continue with a new therapist, I’m glad you’re here. I work primarily with young adults who are ready for the ride of self-exploration, are looking to relieve suffering, and are eager to build a meaningful life. My clients are often navigating difficult life transitions, relationships, and systems, and are noticing patterns about how they show up in the world. They may be struggling with depression, anxiety, or past traumatic experiences that are keeping them from living a full life. I am here to help you make sense of it all!
My approach is attachment-based and psychodynamic, with a hefty dash of Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT). I focus on building skills to navigate immediate concerns, while guiding a deeper exploration of your experiences and making meaning out of them. I bring a sense of collaboration, connection and levity to our work.
Starting therapy can be scary! I assure you we can go at your pace-you are the expert of your life. It is important that you feel we are a good fit, so we will spend the first few sessions feeling that out, and I will help you determine how you want to move forward, what your goals for therapy are, and how you envision therapy helping you.
