Hi, and welcome! I'm Meagan. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania and Washington, DC with 6 years of professional clinical experience. I have experience in helping clients with anxiety, stress, depression, self-esteem and self-harm, and anger management. I also specialize in working with individuals and couples struggling with communication and relationship issues, and infertility.
I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
In our first session, we will work together to identify overarching goals for treatment that will help guide our work together and ensure that you are seeing actual changes in your life. After completing intake, you can expect to leave each additional session with clearly defined, achievable goals to work towards until the next session.
I believe my biggest strength is my lived experience, which has led me to become a professional in the mental health field and has fostered my desire to help others. I can provide clients with empathy, compassion, and understanding in a therapeutic setting and provide them with the tools and support they need to thrive.
