Making the first step to seek help can be difficult, but support and understanding are out there. I strive to create an atmosphere that is comfortable and safe to encourage clients to open up without judgment. I have experience with children, adolescents, and adults with many different struggles in life.
In session we process your past as well as current presenting issues: triggers, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I teach a variety of coping skills such as relaxation techniques to help my clients de-stress. If the client is interested I will also to teach CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) to re frame any negative thinking.
