Hello! My goal as a therapist is to create a respectful, compassionate, safe and nurturing environment where you will feel comfortable working through the challenges that are negatively impacting your life. Individual therapy can be a journey focused on healing and self discovery. It can also be a place to start to learn and practice new tools/skills for addressing challenges that are impacting your daily life. I believe that everyone has the ability to make positive changes to improve their quality of life. Sometimes we all just need a little help getting there.
I work from a Strengths-based perspective and incorporate a range of therapy techniques including CBT, DBT skills, Mindfulness and EFT (Tapping). I will work with you to explore which combination of techniques will best meet your specific needs.
