Are you feeling like nothing you've tried has worked? Whether you're considering therapy for the first time or returning after a previous experience that didn’t meet your needs, I invite you to explore a different kind of support. I believe in working collaboratively to help you find meaningful solutions and move toward the goals that matter most to you. This is a space where your voice will be heard—especially if the world has made you feel silenced.

I love my work and am in awe of the adults and adolescents I work with who courageously address the hurts in their life that prevent them from living more fully. It maybe a crisis in a relationship, ongoing anxiety or depression, a painful trauma, or an inner sense that things are just not right. Together we pay attention to these feelings, enabling them to be talked about, more fully experienced and then understood. This transformative process can restore joy and resilience in life, as well as improve the capacity to care about oneself and be in relationship with others.

My clients are welcomed into a safe and positive environment designed to foster personal growth. I believe my role is that of a supportive guide for individuals seeking new ways to meet their challenges and gain a better understanding of self. As we navigate this journey together, I use cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques to achieve client goals. Typically clients are seeking to reduce stress, minimize conflict and improve communication in their family and/or workplace. I counsel individuals and couples. I also offer topic specific support groups (Menopause Journey and Navigating Separation & Divorce for Women).

I understand that life is really hard sometimes. Life can break a heart, and yet, with support, it can also open it up. Life's challenges can open your heart to the world and new perspectives. Knowing that both can exist at the same time, the pain and suffering as well as the beauty and joy. Sometimes we have to sit in the pain we can't control or solve. That acceptance is scary and ultimately freeing. It provides clarity and allows you to be with what is. We've been taught that 'bad' emotions must be pushed away.
