I'm a licensed clinical counselor with a PhD in Counseling Studies, and training in psychotherapy, transpersonal therapy, energy psychology, and EMDR.
Life experience (and the thoughts and beliefs we hold) can control how we feel and directly impact struggles such as grief, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and trauma. I combine psychotherapy with holistic counseling to help you see a bigger picture for your life, and to help you change emotional, physical, and psychological upsets that interrupt the life you prefer to live.

I’m an eccentric, depth‑oriented therapist who blends radical honesty with a warm, grounded presence. I work with the unconscious, the body, and the patterns you’ve carried for years—often without realizing it. My approach is deeply trauma‑informed and somatically attuned, helping you understand how your story lives in both mind and body. If you’ve ever felt “too much” or misunderstood, this is a space where your complexity is welcomed and your truth can finally breathe.

It is for individuals looking for somatic work, mindfulness, gestalt, transpersonal, depth psychology and energy work (if this is jargon I would love to have the opportunity to explain these concepts; they are accessible
I am a gentle, patient, and empathic presence for empaths, caregivers, therapists, and HSPs working through anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and conflict. Together we will figure this out, at a pace that feels safe to you. Over the years I have cultivated a holistic approach that is caring and inclusive, addressing root causes rather than symptoms. We can and will unlearn painful habits of mind taught by the unhealthy systems we are all formed and harmed by. When you ask and are ready, we look at your personal story, the weight of collective grief, and your ancestral story and its potential legacy of inherited trauma.

You’re exhausted, overwhelmed, and starting to wonder if you’re the problem, spoiler alert: you’re not. Life has been asking too much of you for too long, and now you’re stuck in survival mode. Whether you’re navigating trauma, burnout, anxiety, chronic illness, identity struggles, or just the quiet ache of loneliness, you’re not alone. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you, it’s about helping you reclaim your voice, set boundaries that protect your peace, and reconnect with the parts of you that still feel lost.

I work with both individuals and couples who want healthier, more satisfying relationships. Many come to therapy feeling stuck in conflict, disconnection, poor communication, or recurring relationship patterns. During my 31 years of practice, clients have told me they value my frank, warm, humorous, and approachable style. Good therapy is more than talking—it’s about learning practical skills that create meaningful change. Working with me is like taking a class in YOU.

As a clinical art therapist, I believe in the power of healing through an integrative, holistic approach that addresses the mind, body, and the spirit. Every person has within them the innate ability to heal and transform their lives. Often, it requires a compassionate approach with therapeutic interventions that help an individual to discover that innate wisdom within. As a trauma informed therapist, using nonverbal modalities allows for deeper levels of access to what is unconscious or unprocessed within and stored in the bodies memory from our life experiences.

I’m here to guide you home to yourself. Coming into a civilization that values hyper-production and individualistic ways of being I became enlightened by the deep rooted connection and harmony the mind, body, and soul were craving. The suppression and imbalance of our innate human parts has created exhaustion and burnout that instills conditioning of shame, guilt and fear. My mission is to provide a meaningful safe space to shed these burdens, connect with the healing allies of nature and your own inner wisdom to remember how to be in alignment with your whole embodied Self and the world around you

Transpersonal Therapists
How does transpersonal therapy work?
Transpersonal therapy focuses on a patient’s spirituality and meaning in life. Transpersonal therapists might borrow from Eastern traditions as well as Western psychology. They may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualization, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork to produce altered states of consciousness. The therapist helps the patient to access their consciousness and spirituality to work through difficult mental states.

How long does transpersonal therapy last?
Because the goal is to understand a person as a whole, including their spirituality, treatment can range from months to a year or beyond. While patients learn the philosophy behind transpersonal therapy during treatment, they can also practice its principles throughout life after therapy sessions have ended.

Is transpersonal therapy effective?
Patients have found success with transpersonal therapy; this method is useful in improving anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity, fears, relationship problems, and other concerns. Improvements in problem areas can continue even after transpersonal therapy ends, as individuals can utilize the tools they’ve learned during treatment sessions.

What are the limitations of transpersonal therapy?
There is some research on the effectiveness of transpersonal therapy, but empirical support for this therapy approach is sparse. It does not have the robust evidence base of other forms of therapy, such as cognitive behavioral therapy or acceptance and commitment therapy.
