I integrate existential therapy, CBT, and somatic approaches to help clients explore patterns, process experiences, build emotional awareness, and develop healthier ways of responding to challenges.
I work with adults navigating trauma recovery, life transitions, questions of identity, purpose, and personal growth. Many clients come to therapy feeling disconnected from themselves, overwhelmed by emotions, stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, or uncertain about their next steps. Together, we explore the experiences that shaped you while creating space for greater self-understanding, emotional flexibility, and meaningful change. My goal is to help you develop a deeper relationship with yourself and move forward with greater clarity and intention.

What would it feel like to feel at ease — in your body, relationships, your life? To shake the feelings, thoughts and patterns that stifle or leave you feeling stuck. Often the roots run deeper than the thoughts and behaviors we recognize on the surface, into experiences that shaped how we feel about ourselves, and beliefs of how we should be. Through EMDR and Ketamine Assisted Therapy we process what talk alone hasn't shifted. I work to help you navigate the stress, frustration and pain that's left you feeling "off" or unable to shake. Together, we'll help loosen their grip of old patterns so you can find freedom in your life now.

Because of this, she integrates several evidence-based, experiential, and somatic modalities to ensure clients have the support they need to process their experiences safely and effectively.
As a Certified Relational Life Therapist, I help individuals and couples break free from painful patterns that keep them feeling stuck, disconnected, or misunderstood. You may understand why you react the way you do, yet find that insight alone hasn't created the change you're seeking. RLT combines personal and relationship skills with a deeper exploration to address unresolved trauma, family-of-origin wounds, limiting beliefs, and self-esteem struggles. Together, we'll explore the emotional roots of these patterns, helping you create lasting change and more authentic, fulfilling connections with yourself and others.

Hello, I mainly work with adults however, I am open to working with adolescents. I find myself using person centered therapy which involves meeting individuals where they are at. The client is in the driver's seat so to speak. I also use Internal Family Systems therapy which involves looking at how family factors and relationships are connected to presenting issues the client may be struggling with. I have found family factors to be very relevant in a lot of cases. I use trauma focused therapy to help individuals learn how to process past and present trauma. I collaborate with the client to feel out what pace is the best approach.

I draw from ACT, narrative, CBT and somatic therapies most often.
We walk through so much joy and pain in this life. I've been a clinical social worker for 25 years now, and I've spent much of that time with folks who are living with some kind of pain: in their hearts, minds, bodies. I walk along and witness their journeys, offering evidence-based strategies to help out along the way. Are you grieving? Coping with a new diagnosis for you or someone you care about? Living with pain or serious illness? Perhaps you are dealing with the stress of caregiving for a spouse or parent. You or a loved one may be entering into hospice care. Grief and loss can bring our past traumas front and center.

Focused on healing through trauma-informed, body-based care and grounded in family systems theory, I draw on a range of counseling approaches including; psychodynamic, transpersonal, existential, expressive, mindfulness, mind-body, behavioral (DBT and CBT). Together we sojourn toward self-awareness and compassion for self. Emblematic moments from the past may have become conditioned responses to the present. We focus both on here and now and historical events. TAT (Tapas Acupressure Technique), mindfulness, sensorimotor psychotherapy and EMDR-Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing help re-program stored arousal in the body.

Somatic Therapists
How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.

Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.

Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.

What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
