, CBT, solution-focused, and person-centered psychotherapy and strategies to increase emotion regulation, assertiveness; stabilize mood; improve relationships; replace cognitive errors for behavior change and; resolve trauma to decrease/eliminate anxiety, depression, PTSD etc.
Emerging adults looking to manage transitions, culture and identity, relationship stress, family trauma and abusive dynamics, mood changes, frequent worrying and more come to me to explore the origins and purpose of behaviors, moods and thought patterns; how they are sustained and how they impact psychological and overall well being. We'll develop a treatment plan to decrease the impact of trauma and grief, developing emotional resilience, developing appropriate trigger and stress response and a more positive self-concept. I'll incorporate your values, faith and cultural practices and belief systems.
